Seven Steps To Success

7 Tips for a Productive Life

1. Make a to-do list and give yourself small rewards for completing big tasks.

2. Find ways to break up your workday (or night).

3. Avoid addictive time-wasting activities.

4. Get as much done as early in the day as you can.

5. Tackle that really tough to-do first.

6. Showcase your success.

7. Tell someone about your goals.

I believe that if you really want to fit something,
(like drawing every day) into your life, you can accomplish it
if you really and truly want to do it. The bottom line is;
we make time for what is really important to us.

You have to prioritize, organize, and use your time wisely.
The little list above, always helps me when
I feel overwhelmed or disorganized.

It seems that with each passing year, time gets more scarce,
more divided, and precious. I am now teaching
more drawings and videos than ever before.

So how do I do it?  Three Simple Steps:

1. I make a list daily, first thing in the morning,
if not the night before.

2. I start early in the day and start crossing little things off my list,
which gives me a sense of accomplishment.

3. I limit my time online and try not to get distracted by
videos or articles that will not be of immediate benefit.

Certain things have to take precedence over others and
I make sure I tackle them early in the day. Today,
my priority is getting this Drawing Everyday Blog updated.

I have been sketching every day now for 18 days,
but haven't put a single post up here yet.
So I am determined to cross that off my list this morning.
Mission Accomplished!
